NHS Bassetlaw
OPM provides a chronic pain and rehabilitation service. Over the past 5 years we have also supported local South Yorkshire, Bassetlaw and Lincolnshire complex pain teams and pain community services.
We are an approved service with the NHS National Framework to support existing hospital and community services to reduce waiting times and capacity issues.
Referral
Self referral (retain links and wording for outpatient apps, injections, acupuncture, TENS)
Insurance company referral following accident or injury via Case Manager and/or legal representation.
Residential rehabilitation and pain management programmes providing:
-Self management skills to make better choices to live better with pain and chronic conditions
-Physical therapies, improving normal functional activities/movement, joint & spinal care and benefits of good posture.
-Psychological therapies
-Relaxation, mindfulness, self empathy and desensitisation techniques
Treatment with injections, acupuncture, massage and pain medication advice.
Pain Management Programmes
These are offered either as a small group which meets for around three hours once each week for six weeks, or on an individual basis. The aim is to provide a comprehensive programme of support to help you develop self-management skills and helping you make the best choices to live better with pain.
