Dr Swaroop Sampu

Dr Sampu obtained his medical degree from India in 1998. He was awarded an MD in Anaesthesia in 2002 (Postgraduate Medical Education Institute and Medical Research, India).

 

He later completed his specialist training in anaesthetics and pain management in the UK in 2009. He was also awarded the Degree of Fellowship in Interventional Pain Practice in 2010 (Budapest).

Dr Sampu was appointed as a substantive Consultant in Anaesthetics and Pain Medicine at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in 2009. Appointed as a Clinical Lead in 2012 and currently an Educational Supervisor for Advanced Pain Training in East Yorkshire.

Dr Sampu has been practising in the private sector since 2010 and also been preparing medicolegal reports for personal injury since 2015.

He has also published “Analgesia algorithm for management of pain for adults in chronic pain in the community ”(Hull and East riding prescribing committee,2011)
