Who we are
Optimum Pain Management (OPM) was first established in 2017 by Dr Sampu. He and his colleagues have dedicated their time and careers over the past two decades to patients with persistent and long-term pain working with and in the NHS.
OPM is a clinically-led healthcare organisation. The Board members have extensive collective and individual experience in Chronic Pain and Healthcare Business.

What we do
Whether you have been referred by your GP (NHS Patients), a medico-legal agency, an insurance company, your employer, or you have chosen to attend our clinic yourself, we are able to offer you a comprehensive assessment of your pain and devise a management plan to support you in progressing towards your personal goals.
All of our approaches to chronic pain management and treatment are evidence-based and are aligned to The British Pain Society Guidelines and The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) Clinical Guidelines.
FUNCTIONAL RESTORATION PROGRAMMES
Outpatient Clinics
Initial Assessment: This is usually between 30 minutes and 45 minutes and is available face to face or via a secure video link.
Follow-up Appointments: These usually take between 15 and 30 minutes and are also offered face to face or via a secure video link. You will have a Follow-up Appointment whenever we need to review your treatment plan (e.g. after an injection).
Medication Review Appointments: These usually take between 15 minutes and 30 minutes and are also offered face to face or via a secure video link.
Pain Management and Functional Restoration Programmes
We offer a wide range of structured programmes in groups, and on an individual basis, for those who need support in understanding how to manage their pain on a day-to-day basis. For more information about Pain Management and Functional Restoration please Click Here.
Quality Monitoring
OPM is Registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who are responsible for ensuring that the services we provide are safe and effective.
